Naya Rivera’s love for sexy, revealing clothing has caused criticism in the past. Between plastic surgery rumors and allegations that she’s trying to become Kim Kardashians, it was obviously that people felt uncomfortable with her open sexuality. But just because the world may not have always appreciated the Glee star’s style choices doesn’t mean she EVER sacrificed what made her feel good to please others. Basically, the 28-year-old actress DGAF about what anyone thinks.
But, as you probably already know, taking a risk doesn’t always go as planned and has caused Naya to join the likes of Lea Michele and Ashley Benson in the wardrobe malfunction department.
1. When the camera’s flash was NOT her friend — Naya arrived to the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards with her then-boyfriend Big Sean looking stunning in an all-black jumpsuit. And while the Glee actress combined sultriness with elegance from afar, things went a bit awry when paparazzi camera flashes caused her ensem’s material to become see through and the world saw her undies. Hey — it def could’ve been worse, though, don’t you think?

2. When she almost had a nip slip on the red carpet — When Naya arrived to the 2013 American Music Awards, people immediately began questioning if the actress had gotten plastic surgery. And, do you blame them? Her ~girls~ looked perkier than we’ve ever seen and she was literally one wrong move away from having a super embarrassing nip slip.

3. When she left very little to the imagination — It’s pretty obvious that Naya’s a fan of taking fashion risks, but her outfit choice for UNICEF’s Next Generation Masquerade Ball last Halloween was OVER-THE-TOP risky. Her slinky dress was backless, low cut and featured a thigh-high slit that showed off every inch of her toned leg. While everything (somehow) remained covered, we’re sure it was a serious effort to keep it all in check. Whew!

4. When she faced the dreaded flash AGAIN — If there’s one fashion rule you should remember in your life, it’s this: Always wear a black bra under dark clothing. Unfortunately, Naya seemed to miss this memo as her light-colored undergarment showed through her tight black dress at The Creative Coalition 2015 Benefit Dinner a few months ago. Clearly this wardrobe malfunction wasn’t that bad, but no one wants unnecessary attention on their breasts.
